How could touch–screen technology enhance the way you currently use your PC? How could it make things worse?

And while I've got your attention, let me tell you about lunch.  I've been forced to scrabble through the cupboards today, but unlike Old Mother Hubbard [any relation to L Ron?, Ed.] I've found the following:

One baking potato

One piece of haddock in breadcrumbs

some past their prime and thin on the ground salad ingredients.  Still, it's better than getting dressed and going to the local shop for some long-life bread.

Well that depends on whether you take the view that the entire world appears to be conspiring against me, or whether in fact I'll end up with a very nice settee in a few months time.

I'll tell you what I can do without - a PC!  Always grinding to a halt, breaking down, testing my patience...  I'll never buy another one - not unless Windows is properly built from scratch again like it needs to be.

How do you think technology will impact your future?

I'm only hoping for one thing: to be given a second chance on my teeth.  To grow a new, sparkly set via stem cell technology.  I think it's grossly unfair that I was still a feckless child when I grew my adult set.

I'd rather the mice were left out of the experimentation beforehand, though :(

What are things you can do today because of technology that you couldn't do five years ago?

A few years ago, I discovered an easy-to-use cheese cutter, courtesy of a friend who lives in the Netherlands.  Needless to say, I'm much better at cutting cheese these days.

Now what I need is a bread cutter - something to stop my wedges from being far too much/or far too little "wedgy" at the bottom ends.  I want it to be fancy, though, rather than something straight out of a Betterware catalogue.

If you could get your exercise by taking a pill, would you? Why or why not?
