Big head

Thinking back to when I had to measure my head circumference in November for my upcoming graduation ceremony, I decided to try to find out the average head size for a woman in the UK as of today.  I found that I am correct - I do have a larger head than average - and while I couldn't find the female measurement, I'm 0.8 inches above the average male.  I chose not to include any of the ruder 'head' measurement figures found on google, not least as they really would make my head seem huge...  


I'm so glad I'm not male.  Where would this end?

Now come on, I still need more people to measure their heads.  I'm in the lead here.  

Edit: I've suggested the following QOTD: What is the circumference of your head and can you easily find hats to fit you?  Wouldn't that be just great?

Maybe it is all your brains. I found a load of fabric tape measures in the stationery cupboard yesterday so I will measure mine at lunch time.

I like your qotd idea. I still have no measuring device. Maybe next time I'm in Ikea I'll measure my head.

I have trouble with sunglasses because of my head shape, if that counts?

I think I have a smaller than average head, as my mum bought me a hat for Christmas, and I can see bugger all when I wear it as it goes down over my eyes. Nick has quite a big head, and always ends up splitting party cracker hats... he clearly has all the brains in this relationship!

I have a stupidly big head. 7 3/4 in hat measurement, although I've no idea what that relates to in tape measure measurements.

I have a tiny head and all hats are too big on me. I'll try to remember to measure it tomorrow.
